Our Team of Speech Language Therapists - Dr. Radika Vasudeva.
Dr. Radika Vasudeva
Dr.Radika Vasudeva is a Speech-Language Therapist with 16 years of clinical expertise in varied settings. She obtained her Ph.D from Australia & also holds a Graduate Diploma in Business Administration.
She began her career at the Spastic children’s Association of Singapore in 1990 and moved on to work at Mt. Elizabeth Hospital, Gleneagles Hospital and finally at the Singapore General Hospital.
Radika has served as the President of the Speech-Language Hearing Association (Singapore) from 2001-2004. In her previous appointments as the Departmental Head has been involved in strategic planning of speech therapy services in the acute care setting, manpower development, clinical supervision and mentorship of student and fellow practitioners.
Her expertise and special interests include Neuro rehabilitation, Dysphagia management in children and adults, Clinical Education and Qualitative Research. She has also co-authored a book titled “No More Baby Talk”.
She is also Neurolinguistic Programming (NLP) Practitioner.
Professional practice in ISSW is driven by her strong belief in empowering clients and enabling them to reach their goals for communication and swallowing.

Aparna Bhonsle
Aparna Bhonsle is a Speech-Language therapist with extensive experience in assessing communication difficulties in children and is especially interested in developing school-based speech therapy programs for kids.
She has developed and conducted training modules for parents, teachers and professionals working with children with special needs.
Aparna completed her training in Speech and Hearing at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi in 1990. Following this she was based in London, UK where she did her Masters in Human Communication and started her career with the National Health Service working as a community based Paediatric Speech and Language Therapist from 1991 to 1996. She is a member of the Royal College of Speech and Language therapists and of the Rehabilitation Council of India.
In 1997 after returning to India she worked till 2002 at Karuna Vihar, Dehradun, a school for children with special needs. From 2002 to 2008 onwards she was based in Pune, India engaged in consultancy and free-lance work for a number of voluntary welfare agencies in India. apbhonsle@issw.com.sg
